When I first moved to Spain in 2015, I lived in the most remote part of the country you can imagine: a small desert town in Almería province.
And I ended up loving it.
Living in (and making friends with people in) a small town in Spain gave me the chance to see some of the most beautiful parts of the country that I likely never would have visited had I been somewhere more accessible. Even today, living in a larger city, I still have a thing for small Spanish towns and am always down to explore a new one.
